Pastor of Preaching and Teaching
Before coming to New Hampshire, I served for ten years as an assistant pastor in North Carolina and Virginia. Now at Trinity Baptist Church, I’ve been entrusted with the joyful task of proclaiming Christ to the people of God week after week. God promises that he will use his Word to build his church, and it is both thrilling and humbling to play a role in what God is doing here. Besides this, I get to work with a gifted team of pastors, deacons, and staff.
My aim to faithfully shepherd God’s people has shaped my educational journey. I have a B.A. in Humanities, an M.A. in Bible, a Th.M. in Biblical Spirituality, and a Ph.D. in Apologetics and Worldviews.
Pastor of Worship & Adult Education
Before joining the pastoral team at Trinity in 2011, my wife Emily and I were involved in music education in South Carolina and Wisconsin. I have the privilege and responsibility to shepherd God’s people by leading musical worship, overseeing Adult Growth Classes, and through various teaching, discipling, and counseling opportunities. I pray that our church family remains fully committed to the sufficiency of the Word of God and that our union with Christ through His gospel continues to be the central motivation for all of life as disciples of Jesus.
I have received an undergraduate and a graduate degree in church music and am constantly attempting to stretch my theological knowledge through Scripture study, reading, podcasts, attending conferences, and conversations with other pastors.
Emily is an accomplished pianist and accompanies most of our musical groups and plays for our Sunday morning worship gathering. She also leads women’s Bible studies and teaches private music lessons at Trinity Music Academy. We enjoy good coffee, music, books, and watching our favorite sports teams. We love spending time together with our three children – Jenna, Jason, and Allie – and our black lab, Charm.
Pastor of Family Ministries
As a New Hampshire native, I was thankful to be called in 2012 to pastor the teens at Trinity Baptist Church. It’s been a joy to teach young hearts the satisfaction of finding one’s identity in Christ. Over the years, my ministry has grown to include families as a whole. It’s a privilege to work with so many incredible volunteers at Trinity Baptist Church who faithfully serve.
As I’ve prepared academically for the ministry, I’ve received a B.A. in Biblical Studies and an M.A. in Bible.
My wonderful wife Amberley and I are grateful for our son, Mason who continually reminds us that all good gifts come from above. When I’m not fulfilling pastoral responsibilities, I’m spending time with Mason, drinking coffee with Amberley or cycling on the beautiful New Hampshire roads.
Trinity Christian School Administrator
After earning a B.S. in Math Education and a M.S. in Educational Administration, I served in Christian schools in New England for thirteen years before joining the Trinity Christian School administration in July of 2013. My desire is to complement Trinity Baptist Church’s mission of discipleship by partnering with families who seek to train their children spiritually, academically, and socially for lifelong service to Christ.
Along the way, I have the privilege of teaming with incredible faculty members who joyfully give themselves daily to providing our students with a Biblical worldview and quality education. I enjoy spending time with our terrific student body by teaching math.
My wife Carrie and I were blessed to adopt twin daughters, Ana and Lily, in 2014. God used the foster care process to increase our dependence on Him and to reveal His faithfulness and loving care for us. When I’m not in the classroom or office, I enjoy coaching basketball, searching for golf balls in the woods, and rooting for our beloved New England teams with Carrie.
